Poets of Haarlemtown’s Underground III

Poems are written and shouldn’t stay attached with ink to paper. They need air, vibrations and ears. That is what ‘The Poets of Haarlemtown’s Underground Spoken Word Open Mic Night’ provides, a breathing space for poems and short stories in The Wolfhound.

The belly of the beast was stuffed with twenty-two poets and storytellers from all generations and experience levels sharing their work. If you never shared your poems with an audience the Undergrround is a safe place to start. Convince everybody you probably suck. Do your best and rise above your own expectations. A big warm loud round of applause will be yours to take home.

Special thanks go out to Joshua ‘Mr. Weird Beard’ Baumgarten for hosting the night and The Wolfhound for their hospitality.
