Singer Songwriter Sunday – Terrasmus

The Sunday afternoon of august 20 was a perfect moment to enjoy a couple of singer songwriters at the Terrasmus in Amsterdam. Beechcraft Bonanza opened the day with his ukelele and rock ‘n roll. Etan Huijs shared a great collection of songs. Mizza Hendrix gave the audience a choice. A set of André Hazes songs, mantra’s or very sad songs in Dutch which he hadn’t played for more than a year. Hazes only got a few votes, not everybody was in the mood for mantra’s, but if you are you can join him every Sunday at the Westergasfabriek around lunchtime. In each life some rain must fall and he was in the middle of a downpour. Sad songs won the popular vote and they were good and creative. It’s a pity it was the last time he would play them. Richard Seba closed the afternoon.
