The talents from HIT, the Haarlems Interscholair Toernooi, open the stage on K-Day at the Kenaupark in Haarlem. This Kingsday tradition is still alive, but the tournament part was dropped. The good part stayed. Hart lets talents participate in workshops and are coached to become better and better. For musicians the best place to show their growth is on stage. Hart Talent on Tour is doing exactly that. Until the end of the summer they perform at various locations and festivals in Haarlem.
On Kingsday they visited two locations. K-Day at the Kenaupark and the Slachthuis.
Kenaupark
At the Kenaupark the host Gene and Noa presented a wide variety of music. Inside Fever opened the show followed by Sanne and Reinout, remember these names. Lisanne solo and together with Karlijn were doing great!
Rap was represented by two rapper. The first one was Lyrical Leo. Milou followed him with a good song. Jasper showed his skills on guitar. Sanne took the stage again… Reinout can work with everybody and supported Roan who played violin.
The second rapper was King Crown, sharing his life in IJmuiden. As the next band after the Hart talents was Uncle Sue, a seven person steaming funk and soul machine with brass section and front lady, the last Hart act had to be a good warmup act. Sem Pedal did a great job.

Slachthuis
The Slachthuis is a former slaughterhouse. For the second time it is transformed into a great place with practice rooms, a bar, recording studio and… stage. They can also create your record in a limited edition of twenty copies. What more does a musician need?
On Kingday a huge party was organized with a market and many bands. The Hart Talent on Tour talents participated. Delayah opened the set and DTR followed swift. Leela shared her own songs just like Milou. Lisanne and Karlijn did it all over again! King Crown wasn’t scheduled to play, but due to a bit of luck… there was an opening and he grabbed the chance with both hand. Again delivering a good show. Jasper showed how you play guitar and as there was time left Delayah shared a few more songs. Noa hosted the show.
