Singer Songwriter Cirkel Haarlem: Open Mic Night 35

The Open Mic Night organised by Singer Songwriter Cirkel Haarlem in Café Lokaal was refreshing on the 2nd of march. A lot of artists who never played here before participated.

Ellis Freijser opened the evening, which is becoming a tradition. Rob Wtenweerde sang about beer, which is hard to ignore at Café Lokaal. He also translated Rock Me Amadeus into Dutch for a project and put it to the test.

Left Lynx is working hard to learn various instruments. Tonight she just used her voice and guitar to share her great music. Rachman is good. If you like music which just feels good… check him out!

Lieke and Arjen play in different bands. Tonight they brought a few covers together. Laura Marling, Cornelis Vreeswijk and Ane Brun they nailed it. Michaela was working on her music for two years and tonight she shared it! If you like a lot of guitar and a little bit of singing… Patrick Coyne is the artist to see and hear!

Johnny is part of Jasper Schalks‘ band and is not allowed to do backing vocals. So he moved to the front of the stage to share his own songs. With a song about traveling down the Niagara falls in a barrel and a traditional protest song about the wall… Jasper, who presented the evening, might need to look for a new guitarist

Dutch Cassidy participated in the February Album Writing Month and shared a selection of his new songs!
